The  Bug!  Magazine  is  a Brazilian magazine about security and insecurity. We
call you for participation in our next edition. Write about stuff  you  master,
research or study currently.

We  list below some of the most interesting topics about what you can write for
the magazine:

  - Biohacking, genetic modification of life forms;
  - Phone phreaking, subversing telecommunication systems;
  - Hacking hardware, embedded systems and electronic devices;
  - Exploiting cellphones and other mobile devices;
  - Analysis of "malware" (virus, worms, trojans, rootkits, etc.); 
  - Wireless security (Wi-Fi, WiMax, Bluetooth, etc.);
  - Personal identification security (smartcard, RFID, etc.); 
  - Exploiting physical security, lock picking;
  - Techniques for creating secure softwares and systems;
  - Cryptography;
  - Reverse engineering;
  - Industrial espionage, military intelligence, electronic warfare;
  - Internet privacy, countermeasures against electronic surveillance;
  - Denial of service attacks and countermeasures;
  - Texts about exploit creation and exploitation of systems in general;
  - Journalistic texts, information and history about hacking in general;
  - Technical approach to alternative operating systems;
  - Other interesting topics, even if not listed above.

[--- Article model

1. Every line must contain a maximum of 79 characters;
2. The text encoding must be pure ASCII;
3. Review your article before sending it;
4. Again pure ASCII - don't use accents (shouldn't matter for English);
5. Avoid using chatting slang and similar;
6. Send an abstract of your article to be included in the front page;
7. The articles must contain a Contents section, an Introduction, one or more
   development/argumentation sections, a Conclusion, and a References section
   if needed.
8. The texts can be written in English, Portuguese or Spanish.



[--- Automatic formatting software

We  offer  a  software  for automatic article formatting, to ease the author on
following the asked article model.

We  stress that it's optional to use this software. The author can also format
the article manually, following the model above.

Contributions  like articles, ideas, criticism and suggestions will be welcome.
